Did you know every 6 months in the life of your pet is equivalent to 3 years in the life of a
person? Keeping your pet healthy is important to us, and regular wellness examinations are the
foundation to helping them live a longer, healthier, happier life. Wellness care covers far more
than vaccinations; it also includes preventative care such as heartworm and intestinal parasite
testing, head to tail exams, and comprehensive evaluations of overall health. This is why
physical exams are recommended at least every year to allow for early detection of any medical
problems. We also offer Senior exams to our Senior patients. Click on the dog to find out more
about Senior Exams.
Pets need dentals too! Keep your pets health and breath in check by having our veterinarians
check your pets teeth on your next exam! Click on the dental picture to find out more.
Is your pet on Heartworm preventative? Heartworm disease is a damaging and sometimes
deadly disease that can be prevented. Heartworm disease is a prevalent disease in Nebraska.

Does your cat go outside, or does your dog just love to bolt out of the yard and go for a
neighborhood stroll? Then its a good idea to get them permanently identified by implanting a
Microchip. It is a program in which the Nebraska Humane Society of Omaha participates in
as well. Click on the Home Again logo to find out more.
Common Household Hazards lurk in every home and are sometimes overlooked as a possible
danger to your pet. To get a list of those potential hazards as well as a list for toxic and non-toxic
plants click the Kittens in the plant picture for more information.
