Bellevue Animal Hospital in Nebraska is pleased to announce that we will begin offering
outpatient urgent care hours on Monday, January 3rd, 2022. Dr. David Gordon will be available to see your pets on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m., and on Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Dr. Gordon worked with our hospital in the past year as a “relief” vet, and we are excited to welcome him back as a full-time member of our medical staff and leader of our urgent care team.
Our goal is to provide affordable and convenient outpatient urgent-care services for Bellevue-area pets, including cats, dogs, birds, and small exotics. We will offer same-day appointments for urgent care needs, and we will accept “walk-ins” as our schedule and staffing permits. While we will not hospitalize patients overnight, all calls and incoming cases will be triaged by our urgent care team. Based on this evaluation, our team will determine the best course of action for your pet’s care. This could include an examination and treatment at Bellevue Animal Hospital by our urgent care veterinarian, but it might also involve referral to a local animal emergency center if overnight care and further treatment is deemed necessary for your pet.
Clients who are unable to visit our office during regular business hours, and who find themselves in need of urgent wellness care for their pets – for example, a kennel cough vaccination for a dog due to a last-minute trip out of town, or an annual physical exam for a pet who needs medications refilled – are also welcome to schedule appointments during our urgent care hours. Please note that our urgent wellness care appointments will be offered subject to availability, and we may discontinue urgent wellness care appointments at any time without notice.
