Licensed Veterinary Technician

Bellevue Animal Hospital in Nebraska is currently seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, full-time Veterinary Technician to join our AAHA-Accredited practice! Hourly compensation and benefits available. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.  Our hospital hours are 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday – Friday, and 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays. We also offer outpatient urgent care services from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

  • Ability to utilize electronic medical records system (eVet Practice)

  • Able to work several Saturdays each month

Our new team member must have a valid Nebraska license to practice and be prepared to perform a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:

  • Patient treatments
  • Preparing patients for and assisting in surgery
  • Placing IV catheters
  • Inducing and monitoring anesthesia
  • Taking digital radiographs (both dental and general)
  • Dental prophylaxis
  • Performing laboratory procedures
  • Laboratory sample preparation
  • Collecting urine samples
  • Drawing blood
  • Client education and instruction
  • Filling prescriptions
